As heavy rains lashed most parts of Jammu yesterday, the temperature dropped significantly while power to most of the areas in Jammu remained affected. 

As per information received from Power department most of the feeders could not be restored due to continuous rains which makes it difficult to work on the lines. In some areas of the Jammu city, the power remained off since 3 PM yesterday. The higher Authorities have asked the concerned PDD officials to restore power of Jammu city latest by 11 AM and sources informed that all the department is working to meet the deadline. 

With the rains the winter has also set in and the weather is likely to clear starting today, however according to weather reports, the minimum temperature will drop even further.
